Maegan then remembered what Carrie was talking about and let her in, laughing slightly. "Oh, ha, yeah. Sorry about that. I was just slightly kidnapped by a certain thing and just returned home. I'm slightly out of it," Maegan said. She then led Carrie into her apartment and towards her couch, sitting down and motioning for Carrie to do the same.

"Kidnapped?" Carrie responded, raising a brow as she was led into Maegan's apartment. "That doesn't sound terribly convenient."

"I know. It wasn't. It was only Sebastian, but I thought it was my psycho ex. It was slightly disturbing, especially since my ex had just threatened to kill me and then Sebastian is breaking into my house wearing a ski mask," Maegan said, thinking back to that night and then shaking her head slightly, as if to shake the thoughts from her head. "So, how has your summer been? Any kidnapping attempts on you?"

Carrie laughed derisively as she walked across the apartment. "I don't think they would get very far." She peered at the broken window, stepping carefully over the scattered glass shards. "Would you like me to fix that for you?" she asked, turning back to Maegan. "There is something I need to speak with you about."

Maegan looked to see what she was pointing at, noticing it was in her bedroom. She leaned over the edge of the couch to see her near the broken window. "Um, sure," Maegan said, sitting back down normally. "So, what do you need to speak with me about?"

Carrie pulled out her wand silently and snapped it in the direction of the broken window. The glass shards flew back into their place and sealed themselves back together. "I have this very close friend. He's part of a sort of secret organization, if you will. We were both thinking you and Sebastian would be pretty decent recruits," she started lightly. "Would you be interested?"

Maegan considered this for a moment. "That depends on what this society would require me to do and if I'll get anything out of it," Maegan said. The idea did appeal to her, but she did not want to risk getting herself into something that could prove fatal to her at a later date.

Carrie smiled plainly, looking out of Maegan's window and at the city streets below. "We can offer you protection. We could get rid of this ex of yours," she turned around to look at Maegan. "All you would have to do is get us information from different students at the school, and exploit any sort of thing which could ruin them if we need it done." She leaned against the molding of the window, the back of her hand resting lightly on the pane. "And refusal to join would lead to your elimination at some point or another," she stated contritely, though she tried to keep any emotion from her voice.

Maegan stared at Carrie, a slightly dark look on her face. "Well, isn't that plesant?" Maegan said, sarcastically. Then her face took on a slightly more serious tone. Her body straightened a bit and she worked on calming the slight fear that found itself etching its way into her features. "I shall consider this offer and give your my answer once I learn a bit more about this society. What exactly are its goals?"

Carrie smiled again, the look polite this time. She sat down in a chair in the corner of Maegan's room. "Ultimate power, eventually. For now it's an uprising. You're aware of the ultimate power being held in the hands of witches wizards and mortals(in the loosest sense of the term), am I correct? The mortals repressing those who have the ability to use magic, the witches and wizards repressing vampires and werewolves. All out of fear. We aim for a world free of repression. Where vampires, especially, could be open about what they were. Could you imagine?" she asked, her face bright with the thought. "Where no one was pushed away out of fear." She stood up and walked towards the window once more. "I'm not saying to eliminate fear. That's impossible, and it's what keeps people in line. ...Do you understand our aims or am I not being entirely clear," she muttered the last part, completely transfixed on the humans down below.

Maegan found herself transfixed by Carrie's words. Not that they were particularly eloquent, the concept just appealed to Maegan immensely. She spent her entire life shunned by those who thought she was different, living as an outcast in both the magically and nonmagical worlds, all out of fear of her differences. The idea that this way of thought could be ended interested Maegan, it was something she yearned for since a young age; for people to not ostracize others because of their differences.
Maegan yanked herself away from her thoughts and nodded to Carrie. She forced the look of hope away from her features, leaving behind a blank mask. "Yes, I understand perfectly. I think I would like to join this society after all. The goals...appeal to me." Maegan decided that was the best way for her to phrase it.

Carrie nodded, breaking her spell through the window as she looked back to Maegan. She half smiled. "I thought you would," she said simply. "Oh, I have something else to tell you. Sebastian is back with Adrienne," she continued bluntly.

Maegan nodded, smiling slightly. "I expected as much. I still doubt that this will do much in the way of stopping in from wanting to sleep with me..." Maegan trailed off, thinking back to Sebastian. The situation between the two of them was interesting, but Maegan was wondering if she could get something out of it. Sebastian wanted sex, something which she doubted Adrienne would be willing to give and Maegan would, for a price. Yes, she would always be able to use him to fit her needs as long as he was in need of sex.

Carrie smirked devilishly. "And I'm filled with the desire to corrupt the girl. She's too innocent, even if she is rather violent. But she seems like more talk. Deep down she's really very sweet," she continued lightly, nodding her head and lifting her eyebrows in a manner to mock Adrienne.

Maegan snorted at what Carrie said. "It's not really that she's sweet, she's just hopelessly in love with a psychopath. Normal happy people are perfectly okay when they're not obsessing over their ex-psychopath. Actually, he's no longer her ex. Obsessing over their current psychopath."

Carrie snorted derisively, looking at Maegan with one eyebrow raised. "Yes, but she's fighting the fact that she's in love with him," she began softly, completely bemused. "She doesn't want to be in love with a psychopath." She turned back to the window again. "My proposition was going to be to corrupt her to the point where she was almost like him. Not quite though. That would be impossible."

"That sounds like it could be interesting. We could always turn her completely like him. a few traumatic experiences could always make her a sociopath. I'm not exactly sure that we need any more of those at the school. Evil is more fun when people are passionate about evil."

Carrie half smiled, thinking it all out. "Traumatic experiences... I think it's a little late to turn her into a sociopath, but she has enough anger to manipulate. Let's continue discussing this later. Would you like to me to call Sebastian for him to come so we can see how he stands on our little Association?"

"It's never too late to make someone crazy," Maegan sang, making a rainbow with her hands and smiling widely. Then her face returned to a slight smirk. "Of course. I'd like to ask him a few things about his new relationship with Adrienne anyway. What about the person who introduced you to the society? Can we get him here too?"

"Zy... You'll both get to meet him, but not quite yet. Tonight, if all goes as planned and Sebastian agrees to join," she responded distractedly as she flipped open her phone and sent a text message to Sebastian: Get to Maegan's apartment, we miss you.
