Adrienne knocked on the door outside the apartment, the number outside the door reading 669. Or that's what it was meant to read. The nine had flipped upside down, so now it was a lopsided '666'. The door opened up, showing a thin and delicately small woman with spiky short hair and pixie-like features. She was a far cry from Adrienne's looks, though neither were unattractive. The only thing that proved they were related was their equally piercing ice-blue eyes. Evyna grinned, embracing Adrienne in a hug though Evyna was much shorter than she. She finally let go, holding Adrienne at a distance to look at her. "Adrienne Annie. Where have you been? School let out days ago. Were you with a boy?" she asked, not bothering to be tactful, coming off more as another teenager than an adult. "Evy," Adrienne's troubled look was enough for her Aunt. "I guess you could say that..." "You're not knocked up, are you?!" "No!" she said, glaring at Evyna. "I sort of made out with an ex who is sort of a psycho." "Aren't they all..." "No. Really. He's insane. He tortured my boyfriend." "That'll cause some tension... Was he jealous?" "I don't think so," Adrienne said, nearly scoffing. "He did it for fun." "Should I kill him for you?" "I'd rather do it myself." "If anyone dared hurt you, you know I would," she replied with cheerful protection. "My boyfriend is meeting with me here so we can talk..." "Damn... If he dares lay a hand on you, I'll kill him too." "That's okay. He seemed pretty worried about something himself." "If he cheated on you, would you like me to beat him into unconsciousness? Never mind that. I have some boys who would do it for me." "Did you just say boys, as in plural?" Adrienne asked in incredulity. "Yes. Beyond the point. You're all right though, aren't you?" "I'm fine." "It's your birthday, Adrie." "I'm fully aware of that." "How're you feeling?" "Hangovered." "Me too." "You're irresponsible." "That was hypocritical." Adrienne started laughing, completely irrationally. "I have a psycho-ex to blame, though." "Maybe I do too." Adrienne raised an eyebrow, unable to continue the argument. "I want to dye my hair pink." "The salon is open, I can get you some dye." "Is there anything you won't let me do?" "Your ex." "Ew. No. I wouldn't, but thanks." "Since when do you date ugly guys?" "...not what I was inferring." "Let's go sit down. Once you're feeling better we'll go dye that hair."

There was knock at the door, Porcelain's purse clutched tightly in case of a mugging or something of the sort. She let herself knock once more before stepping back and waiting.

Adrienne's knees were brought up to her chest as she sat on the vintage sofa, her arms wrapped around them. Her aunt walked by her, putting chamomile tea down on a coaster in front of her. Adrienne's hand reached out to pick it up, but her eyes stayed focused on the intricate designs on the coffee table- another one of a kind thrift shop pick up.
Evyna sighed, running her hand through her short, black and purple hair. It was loosely spiked with gel, just enough so it would stand on end. She ran her hands up and down the pantlegs of her black skinny jeans, so much like a pair of Adrienne's, but the habit was stressed and it showed. "I would like nothing more than to smoke right now." She turned around and looked at Adrienne. "You've been my best friend since I lost your sister, and I won't let anything happen to you. I'll kill this boy, you know."
Adrienne attempted a half-hearted smile, trying her best to make light of the situation. Of course she didn't go into specifics, but Evyna generally knew the gravity of the situation and didn't ask for further detail. "Don't worry about it, Evy. We're over." Kind of.
Evyna eyed her, reluctantly letting the topic go. "But you're gonna have to live with the repercussions of what he's got you into for the rest of your life. Are you sure there's no way out?"
Sure. Death. "I'm sure," Adrienne responded through a sigh. Then a faint knock was emitted through the wood of the door, past the wall that divided the two rooms. Evyna groaned.
"I'll go get that." She stood up quickly, walking across the apartment to open the door. "Hello." Adrienne heard her voice sound a little shocked. "Friend of Adrienne's?" Evyna first attempted. Adrienne's entire body tensed up from her position on the sofa. Any friends could not really be friends at this point.

Porcelain's face lit up when seeing this very strange person open the door. She smiled and nodded trying to glance over the woman's shoulder. "Is she here? I wanted to swing by while I was in the area and bring her this.." She pulled out of her purse a neatly wrapped present, "I can always come by later when she's here.." She said smiling in her politest face.

"Ask her if it's poison," Adrienne called from the sofa, smiling despite herself. "She has a tendency for that."
Evyna rolled her eyes from her place at the doorway, motioning for Porcelain to enter. "Please, come in. Make yourself at home, honey. She's on the couch." Evyna shut the door behind her and made her way back to the kitchen to refill the tea kettle. "Would you like any tea?"

Porcelain walked in and smiled at Adrienne, sitting down next to her she looked over at the aunt, "I'd love some if it weren't any trouble.." She looked over to Adrienne. "Happy early Christmas." She said handing her the box full of various books, her black eyes looking back over to the aunt, "We need to talk about some things.."

Adrienne smiled when she opened it, and it was quite possibly the first real smile she had expressed since the beginning of the school year. "Thanks, Porce. It means a lot." She turned to look at her after she set the box on the end of the table. "Okay, shoot."

"Since our dear Theo has found himself locked away somewhere, probably at his apartment I feel I need to be the one that finds out information.." She glanced back at the aunt, "Though I wonder if it'd be wise to talk here.. Or if it might be safer depending on who's lurking around." Her voice was nervous and she glanced out the window carefully, "We can be in a lot of trouble if were caught.." She closed her hands in her lap, "I tried to kill him for you, you do know that right?" She then stood up and rubbed her palms against her jeans, "He's here to get that Becker girl, he has something on her, I just know it."

Adrienne nodded. "I'd do the same for you. You should have taken me up on the offer of killing Brann. Theo locked himself away? For what reason? Relapse to his emotional state?" She sighed despondently, rubbing her forehead and then pulling at her hair. This wasn't what she wanted to think about. "It's okay. She knows...some stuff. I didn't really want to involve her in...you know. Anyway...Becker. I heard she and Theo made quite the impressions on one another. I don't think he's ever gotten violent with a girl. You were there, weren't you?"
Evyna appeared with a cup of chamomile tea for Porcelain. "Did you want sugar or honey in that? Milk?" she asked, grabbing a coaster off of an end table and placing it on the coffee table afore them.

Porcelain watched as Evy came back in the room and shook her head, "No thank you, I take my plain." She picked up the cup and sipped from it. "I did hear about that.. Quite the strange couple they'd make." She set the cup down and looked at Evy, "Thank you for the tea." She looked back over at Adrienne, "Theo's been doing some "extra-curricular activities with Damien.." She said using her fingers to do the quotation marks. "Rumor has it Sebastian's bought an apartment here, I'd worry about him if I were you."

Adrienne's face paled, but she did her best to look nonchalant. "Did he? Well he's probably got something in the upper east side of Manhattan. Right?" she responded, half-hearted and hopefully. "Theo? Drugs? No. He wouldn't do that. He hates them. He's never even touched them before. He rarely even drinks... And from what I know of Damien, he doesn't seem much like the type."
Evyna sat in her chair, across from the girls. "This guy that's put Adrienne through hell and back... He's moving to New York? He better have enough sense to keep his distance, or he won't live much longer."

Porcelain shrugged, "I saw them before school let out.. He was taking hallucinogens with Damien to apparently see their dead girlfriends.." She frowned and then smiled when Evy spoke.
"I'd pay you to kill him, seriously.. I have money in here that would probably set you for life." She reached into her wallet, "How soon could you do this, I have his address."

Evyna frowned, but her icy blue eyes sparked mischievously. "What do you think of me? I don't do hits. Only personal reasons. That way it's morally justifiable." Her eyes softened at the turn in the conversation. "The world really is going down the drain, isn't it?"
Adrienne nodded, looking down. "I guess we all should have tried to talk to him...after. Y'know? I just didn't think he would want to talk about it. Do you think that that was it? Maybe he'll wisen up and stop."

Porcelain shrugged, "Too each his own." She looked over to Adrienne, "You have his mother's number right?" A thought forming in her head.

Adrienne's eyebrows pushed together as she eyed Porcelain. "Yeah...well, his home phone number..," she paused for a moment, "why?"

"I think we should call her, maybe sort things out.." Porcelain said looking out the window, "Should we break into Sebastian's new apartment and put everything upside down?"

"I guess we're taking a road trip to Jersey. It's not right talking to his mother like that over the phone. Hell...I'm not even sure if it's right to rat out your friend to begin with." She stood up and stretched, looking at Porcelain apologetically. "I'm staying far away from your brother. You never did tell me what part of New York is apartment was in, anyway."

She looked at her before smiling, "Brooklyn, right near that big bridge.. He didn't want a big apartment I hear." Porcelain stood, "I suggest you pack up your things then, road trip it is." She said before looking at Evy, "You don't mind do you?"

Adrienne leapt to her feet, looking both horrified and panicked. "Why the fuck did he move into Brooklyn?! That's it, Porce. We're breaking in and making it look like a robbing. Okay? Maybe he'll move." Her breathing suddenly became faster, and Evyna walked over, pushing her back down on the sofa.
"Calm down, Adrie. Calm down! God, get a grip on yourself," she crooned dangerously, and Adrienne slowly came around. "Good girl. Now you're not going to do anything of the sort, and I'm not going to let him come within a thousand feet of this apartment building. You're not going to get arrested."
"That's not what I'm worried about. What I'm worried about is running into him at a store or somewhere and him being with someone and me not...and it's not even like I want to be with someone, I just don't want him rubbing anything in my face," she rambled frantically, then took a deep breath to calm herself once more. "Why did he leave London, Porce?" she inquired, but it sounded more like she was pleading.

Porcelain made a soft laugh when she was asked the reason why, "Because, if he comes to London, he'll be arrested." She smiled, "He has a restraining order from my father.. Plus as an added bonus, he bought the apartment when you and him stayed in New York for the summer.''
