Okay, well the release date is out. The 7th book is coming out on July 21st. So, what are your thoughts on the date?
Personally, I hate it. It is a week after the movie comes out, meaning that the movie will like die and not be discussed or whatever at all because everyone will be obsessing over the book.

I think there will be about equal obsess. Order of the Phoenix is a pretty big one. Personally, I don't care what the release date is. I'm just happy to get the book. We've got it on pre-order right now.

I need to get down to barnes and nobles to sign up for midnight magic. I want to be one of the first people this time.

Does anyone know where I can pre-order the book on CD? I have ADHD, and it's easier for me to enjoy it on CD.

I really don't know, sorry. I would try amazon.com. They seem to have everything. If they don't already have it, then I'd just wait until it's closer to the release date.

^ Yeah, I'd have to agree with Jes. I'd be surprised if you could pre-order the c.d. this early.

Yeah, sadly I don't think they're going to even record the CD version until the book is already out.

I'm torn. I want the book to come out so badly that way I can read it, but after this book it's no more Harry Potter. :[

I know. I was hoping for a summer 2008 release. Now I'm sad.

I loved that I finally got to read how The Dark Tower series ended, but took almost a year reading it just because I was desperate for it not to end! lol Well, I don't know if I took that long, but I was really procrastinating in reading it because I knew that after that book, there was no more. Ah... but that is what fanfiction is for! *squee!*

The Stephen King Dark Tower series?! I just started reading that.... Okay. Off topic. But I don't want it to kill my fanfiction or anything.... :[

Kill your fanfiction? What do you mean by that?
And yeah... Can you imagine my disappointment when there was a good chance Stephan King was never going to finish it? And in one of the forewards, he actually mentions that there was a point in time that he didn't think he would. O.O When Wolves of Calla came out I was so glad. When Song of Susannah came out, I picked up the book walking into the store without even looking at the stack. I just knew it was there, grabbed it, and walked to the counter.

Kill your fanfiction? What do you mean by that? Everyone will be reading the book, and watching the movie. That usually puts all fanfiction on hold for a bit, then they may forget about it and such. Oh well, the book is more important. I want it so badly right now. *dies out of obsession* That would be terrible.... :[ I had read Carrie a while ago, and recently had this sudden urge to read more of his books. So I picked up The Drawing of the Three first, then realized it was the second in the series and had to go back to get the first one.
