Lorayne smirked and walked over to Adrienne. "Hello" she said smirking. "So...," she started, "How have you been? Set anyone on fire lately?" she asked, holding in her laughter. It was bad that she found that situation so funny. After all, she had been a part of it. Not that she enjoyed the detention...

Brann walked into the Great Hall he passed by Adrienne. "Careful Adrienne, someone might set you on fire," he threatened in a friendly tone. He winked at Lorayne and sat in a chair across from the teachers. He gave them a US Army salute and turned in his chair.
"Yeah," Adrienne said, grinning but not really meaning it. "We'll see how far you get with that," she muttered somewhat quietly in a poisonously sweet tone.
Melanie watched as Brann saluted the teachers' table. She waved, as far as she'd go with politeness, then seemed to turn her attention back to the other teachers. Something always bothered her about that kid. Too many deaths revolved around him.... She brushed the feeling away. If this were true, she'd have heard any threatening thoughts coming from him- wouldn't she?
Carrie looked up from her book and saw the new arrival. She shook her head, returning her attention to her book. She was growing restless, and if she didn't do something- anything, she'd explode. It was funny that how nearly nothing changed about her in the last few hundred years. Time ceased to have meaning for her, with the exception of when just a few minutes seemed to last ages. It was ironic really. Minutes seemed to pass in years, but years seemed to pass in minutes.

Maegan took the book from her again. "No!" she shouted, quite a bit louder then she planned. The sound rang out across the great hall, causing Maegan to let out a nearly silent, "Oops." A few students turned to stare at her becuase of her loud outburst. They were met with glares.
Zephyr sat there, looking around bored. After a few moments of boredom, he summonded a small container of nail polish, bright purple, and began to paint his nails. Then, a loud "No!" rang out across the hall. His hand jerked to the side, causing him to draw a purple line across his nail with the nailpolish. He cursed and started to stab at his hand with the nail polish brush before realizing that it would be a pain to take off.

Running her hands through her hair, she sighed. This was going to be once for the first times in a long while that she would be placed in a large group setting. During the summer she had been placed in the cabin, alone, far away from her family and now she wasn't used to have people around her, let alone so many. Walking into someplace in the school that was known as the Great Hall, she stared around her at the people. Realizing right than and there she had no friends whatsoever, but than again, who would have expected a vampire to have friends? She sat down at a close table, smiled at the one or two occupants and stared at the wall.

Serena looked up at him and a thoughtwave hit her. Fresh meat Raising an eyebrow, she couldn't be sure that the thought had came from the boy who had just introduced himself to her, considering there were so many people around her but she grinned anyways. The person would be susprised if he or she tried to attack her. Flashing another small smile at the boy, she introduced herself to him. "Serena Roberts." She said.

Alessia indignantly said "Well, that will not happen in my classroom, no signore!" She eyed the other students. She could sense their emotions and felt as if no one was phased by this behavior. She turned to Professor Smith and asked "What kind of pushments are we allowed to inflict on the students when their behavior is so bad?" "Well, we sure as hell aren't allowed to threaten them with death. Or threaten them in any other way. Or set them on fire. Or stun them so they shut up for the rest of class...," she let her voice drift off than laughed darkly, "Oh, wait. We do that anyway!" She rolled her eyes, "Believe me. Threatening them with violence is the only way to get them to listen to you. I'm actually against violence, ironically. Prior to working here it was my belief that it solved nothing."
Carrie noticed the new person (serena) sit down. "Vampire?" she asked, not really bothering to look up from her book. She asked, though she already knew. One of the plus sides to having telepathy and empathy. But she had come to realize that just assuming those things was slightly rude.
Adrienne watched the whole seen with an arched eyebrow. Arjay would be a fun new person to hang out with to set people on fire and the works...but wearing a pink sweater shut that idea up. Just the sight of the color pink brought her close to tears. She didn't blame Penelope for not doing the color pink.

Xander rushed into the Great Hall, and without looking at the others, found a place to sit and began eating.

Xander rushed into the Great Hall, and without looking at the others, found a place to sit and began eating. Brann looked over at the first year who'd come rushing in and begun eating like his life bepended on it. He smiled and said "Hey..." he leaned in to whisper "where's the fire?" and leaned back in his chair pleased with his little joke.

Xander blinked, then smiled. "Here!" He pointed to himself. "But I don't know how to make it come out yet." He nodded to the other boy and began eating once more.

Lorayne sat down and was about to speak but instead she watched the scene unfold in front of her. She smirked before turning back to Adrienne. "Oh I wish" she said smirking "I could do it like that" she said snapping and a flame appeared in her fingers.

Serena shrugged, not wanting to reveal she was a vampire one just yet. Not to mention one that was really beginning to get really hungry. "What about you?" She asked, noticing the boiling juice. "Does it taste good like that?" She asked curious.

Adrienne laughed. "Yeah. Me too. It's painfully boring right now," she observed, glancing up at the teachers' table, then back. She opened up her palm, watching the flames dance in her hand with a sort of detached observation. She closed her hand and they were gone.
Carrie rolled her eyes, seeing that she wouldn't be answered. She put her book back up and leaned back in her chair, trying to ignore the flirting. Seriously. If it went on much longer she was going to gag.

Xander looked confused. "I thought vampires were supposed to be afraid of fire, not use it."

Lorayne smirked and looked at a vase out of the corner of her eye in the corner. She made it burst to pieces quickly and then fized it again. She rolled her eyes and made it burst again before fixing it once more. "So have you set anything on fire lately?" she asked turning to Adrienne.

Why would you ever think I'd do such a thing?" she laughed, then stopped, serious now. "I actually haven't yet, surprisingly enough. I doubt you count playing with fire actually setting something on fire."
Carrie heard Xander's observation, and responded, "I think it probably has something to do with their powers. The pyrokinesis probably coincides whatever genetics cause the vampirism. That's just my theory, though." She had actually looked up from her book this time, noticing it was only a first year. "What abilities do you have?"

Lorayne chuckled. "Yeah you cant really count that" she said smirking slightly. "I've played with fire countless times lately" she said smirking "and set things on fire" she added under her breath.
