A very large park located in the center of NYC. Keep in mind, it's quite large. Like...massive.

Adrienne and Evyna parted at the entrance. Adrienne continued to walk until she found the row of benches where they were to meet. "Adrienne." She heard the voice behind her and nearly leapt in the air from shock. "Theo. Hell, you scared me," she began. "We need to talk." "I need to tell you something..." "Did Sebastian get you pregnant?" he asked, his tone dark. "No." "Then it's irrelevant." "Even if I made out with him?" "It's your choice. Even if it was a rather disgusting decision. Don't expect me to kiss you until I'm sure you don't have herpes now." Adrienne looked at him incredulously. "You're not mad?" "Do you want me to be." "No. I just-" "There are more sinister things happening," he said, cutting her off shamelessly. "Stay in New York for a while." "What do you mean?" she pressed, getting the hint that he wanted to end the conversation there. "You and the rest of the students are being stalked by an organization. For new recruits. Avoid them. If you join, it's a lifetime of service. If you don't, it's death." "How do you know this?" she asked in an accusatory tone, not fully meaning to. "One of them came to my apartment," he began walking, turning his face away from hers. His hand closed over her upper arm, guiding her along next to him. "He sent me pictures of you walking down the hallways at the Academy, at the club in London. I'm certain he has more, but you're the only one I care about, he has no reason to send me others. They know everything they can about all of you. Anything that is on record, they have." He looked at her, and the full weight of the situation finally sank in. "You already knew... You're not angry that you knew from someone else before I told you?" "Anger is what they want," he said stiffly, looking away again. "And they're looking to recruit and kill?" "I do believe that's what I said..." "What if we don't care if they threaten to kill us?" "Physical torture, mental torture, killing of family members. The possibilities are endless, really," he said, now sounding irritable. "I need to tell my aunt." "Have her change her name. It's actually why my mother is now in New York. As far as anyone knows, she's a mortal." Adrienne looked up at him, a flicker of fear evident in her eyes, but a defiant look replaced it. Theo nearly smirked at her if he wasn't so afraid she was going to do something rash enough to get herself killed. "We need to get inside somewhere." And so they walked back to the entrance in silence, meeting with Adrienne's aunt and Theo's mother. They entered a quietly elegant hotel, the least obvious place to hide out.
