Theo Runner sat in the corner of the room, a single lamp in the corner casting a dim glow about the room. In front of him were the materials that were discussed; small squares of paper, vials of a clear substance, and a set of needles and syringes.
He brought his knees up to his chest and crossed his arms over them. A thrill rushed through his veins briefly, then subsided and left him to his apathetic state. Damien better get here soon, he thought bitterly to himself.

Damien walked down the halls, dimly aware of what he was about to do. Any sound that reached his ears caused a new wave of paranoia to hit him. Beneath the panic came a sense of excitement, a deep set thrill that he could not still.
He entered a small empty room, glancing around the hallway for people. Seeing none, he shut the door and examined the surroundings. The room was dimly lit and near empty. The light was so faint that anyone on the outside would see this room as unused. Seated in the corner was Theo. Damien attempted to greet him, but found himself unable to speak. The apprehension combined with excitement rendered his voice disabled. Instead, he gave a faint nod and sat, waiting.

Theo attempted to smile his nonchalant smirk, but it came off strained. "Hey," he finally managed, and motioned Damien to come closer. "So you can either pour a drop from the vial onto the blotter paper, or you can choose between an intravenous or intramuscular injection. What appeals most to you?" he asked, lamely attempting to make light of the situation.

Damien looked between the two options and reached for a thin square of the blotter paper. "I'd prefer not to bleed over this," he said. He then held the blotter paper in his hand, waiting to raise it to his tongue. After a moment of staring at it, he raised his eyes towards Theo. 'He can make the first move. Just to make sure it's not poisoned. I'd rather not die,' he thought, ignoring the ingesting an illegal drug was probably just as potential dangerous as poison.
He waited.

Theo smiled tauntingly at Damien's hesitation, and though he was reaching forward without pause, his hand was tingling and his veins felt like they were on fire. He picked up a syringe and inserted it into the vial, pulling the liquid up into the thing. He removed it, held it upright and pushed the bottom slightly to rid any air that was trapped inside. Of course he wouldn't take chances like that. He didn't want to die...yet. He brought the needle to the front of his right arm, directly above where his elbow was, and inserted it into the vein. He didn't feel anything yet, and looked up at Damien.

Damien watched as Theo moved, seemingly without any hesitation. Theo's actions forced some of the apprehension out of his thoughts and he placed the blotter paper under his tongue. He excitement build, overcoming any regrets he might have had. The room remained the same. Damien watched and waited, feeling nothing. He looked to Theo.

Theo's eyes finally left Damien's as he suddenly felt hot in his own skin. His body began to tremble and shudder, and suddenly it ceased for a moment. Chills ran up and down his spine, alternating between the sudden bursts of heat, and he had a fever, he knew, a severe one.
The room began to twist and turn, and then fall still again. It was still and silent, then it began to melt. The walls dripped down, down, down, over the furniture, then the furniture melted down too. Then it reversed, time went backwards, and the whole thing repeated. Something appeared out of thin air, like a screen movie at a drive in theater, but this wasn't a theater. This was a room, a spinning, melting, stationary room.
It was a path, with a castle behind it, and it took a moment for his mind to comprehend and recognize, that it was the path around this castle. Tem appeared, and Theo could not keep the smile from his lips. This would kill him. He surely could not live through this, or he would be driven insane, but it was alright. He would be fine dying or falling to insanity because there was Tem, and he was able to see her once again. She walked forward, and Theo stood up to meet her. The room was still the room, but they were on the path as well. Could he be in two places at once? He was now.
"I would have waited for you until the end of my days," she said, then looked as though she wanted to kiss him. Had this happened before? He didn't quite care. "Don't leave me again, Theo."
"I didn't leave you this time," he pleaded, desperately and earnest. "I won't. I would never leave you again."

Damien saw Theo's eyes become distant. He was about to call out Theo's name when a strange feeling came over him. He looked around the room and found that he could not quite recognize it. The flames of the candles seemed to consume the room. It swirled around him, blending in with all of the colors of the room. Each color moved, dancing through the room.
Then, he saw her. Priscilla face appeared before him, swirling in a mist of color. The moment her face appeared, it was lost. A shriek bubbled in his throat but was not released. The colors still danced around him, but none took the shape of her face. The sight of her was lost. Lost to him forever. The anguish rose within him, seeming out of place within sights of such happiness.

"Some kids tried to hurt me," she continued, her voice resounding through his head, and he put his hands instantly over his ears. The memory of her voice had long since become distorted, and the hallucinogens that pounded through his veins and to the chemicals in his brain only made it worse. Her face began to twist, and he tried to shut his eyes, but he saw it all anyway. Only, now everything was being consumed in fire.
Two voices rose in unison, both hers, but one was screaming in agony. The other continued speaking, but Theo had began shouting to drown it out. He didn't want to hear anymore.

The colors swirling around him began to dim. His body curled itself into a ball, but his thoughts did not even register the movement. It was a natural reaction to the pain that flashed through him. Priscilla's face was lost to his vision, and he could not even conjure a memory of it.
Strange figures began to occupy his sight. Hallucinations and visions of color and sound consumed him, but none contained Priscilla's face, her voice, her presence. She was gone.
Damien did not know how much time passed. His body turned inwards in hopes of blocking any and all thought. Any pain these visions generated. He shielded himself from everything around him and waited to be freed.
And then, everything began to clear.

It could have been minutes or hours that Theo spent after crumpling to the ground, shaking and trembling. The images and lies in front of him began to fade, but the truth was what was haunting him, and it took a while before he was completely conscious of himself.
He sat up, resting his forehead against the back of the palm of his hand, his elbows pressed against his thighs, right below his knees. "She never screamed...," was all he was able to say, amongst the darkness and the drugs and the needles.

Zephyr skipped down the halls with Porcelain in search of Theo. While skipping past a closed door, he thought he heard Theo's voice. It was times like this that he loved his vampire abilities.
He leaned up against the door, listening to see if Theo was in there. His voice affirmed his suspicion and he pushed the door open and skipped inside. "Theo, we need you so we can have a meeting" he sang, entering the room.
Then he stopped in shock at the sight. It took him a moment to take in all that was in the room. Both Damien and Theo appeared to be in a not happy state. He wondered why.

Porcelain looked at Theo and Damien with utmost horror, what the fuck did they think they were doing? She glanced at Zephyr and frowned, "And here I thought they were the most sane in the school.." She stepped over what looked like a needle and sighed, "What do you think we should do?"

Theo looked up at Porcelain, his head hanging, but pounding...and he couldn't think straight. "You could always leave," he responded harshly, his words faintly slurred. Why did the world still feel like it was spinning so goddamn fast? Why couldn't it just slow down....

Damien began to come out of his drug induced stupor just to see Zephyr and Porcelain enter the room. He instantly begged for his consciousness to leave him once more and let him return to a state of blissful unawareness. Even the torment of past moments did not compare to the horror that shook him at their entry. Mixed with the agony of seeing Priscilla's face, he questioned if his sanity would leave him.
Zephyr turned away from the sights in the room and to Porcelain. "And to think, we were having this one run the society. Great to know that we trusted a drug infected idiot," Zephyr responded, stepping farther into the room. He still was glancing around, taking in the sight.

Porcelain shook her head, "Well in that case, temporarily until his ass stops being so depressed like, I'll run the Society." She knelt in front of Theo, her shoe crushing one of the bottles on the floor, "Why is this necessary?" She reached for his hand but in the dark it was hard to find, "You have helped me in the past and know I need to help you." She squeezed his hand tightly, "Theo, don't be like this, we all care about you."

Theo gazed at her from half-lidded eyes, something that might have been a glare had his feelings been able to be more intense. "What is this; some pathetic attempt at reconciliation?" His words became more pronounced, but his mood had swung drastically. "None of you care about me any more than I care about you, so save yourself the heartbreak and grow up."

Porcelain was growing tired of Theo's insufferable misery, why didn't he just grow up instead of acting to child-like. She slapped him but not with enough effort to actually hurt, "Do you think she wants you like this?" She said glaring at him, her eyes full of disappointment, "If your so much of a fucking leader than you grow up and stop crying over your dead girlfriend, she's dead."
She stood up and looked at Zephyr, "He's not listening to me, have any ideas?"
She then looked at Damien, "I'd go near you but you might eat me."

Theo stood up suddenly; though the room still felt like it was moving, it was not enough to cause him to fall back down. "Do I look like I'm crying?" he growled, bringing back his hand as though he was going to hit her, but he stopped himself at the last moment. He usually had so much more self control than that...
She only said a few stupid words, and why did that get to him? His arm dropped to his side, and he felt his sudden burst of anger fade. He could barely flick his eyes to meet hers. "I'm not a leader Porce. I'm sorry," he finished, pushing his way past them and to the door, not even looking at Zephyr. Everything they said, they were both right, and though he knew it, he could not bring himself to acknowledge it.

Porcelain felt sick to her stomach, that was not what she intended to do. She wanted him better not worse. "Theo!" She would use her power to make sure that door did not budge, she couldn't just let him walk away like that. "Don't leave me." Her voice was shaking as she spoke, "You are the best thing at this school; besides you Zephyr."
She went to step forward, "Why do you hate me so much while I love you and just want you happy?"
